Not much for human contact...I prefer to spend the majority of my time walking my pond and woods. I find my calm in nature. Originally a native of suburbia, Cleveland-Ohio, my husband and I created our 'dream come true' with a lot of blood, sweat and tears. We purchased undeveloped land and within a few years, cleared an opening in the woods, built a cabin, carved out a large pond, and added waterfalls leading from the woods' edge into the pond, completely on our own...no contractors. The outcome all sounds elaborate, but quite simply is a small cabin nestled back in the woods...affectionately known as Wishnik Woods. This is where the majority of my captures originate. I have a special fondness of Odonata....dragonflies. I am mesmerized by the hundreds that I witness every day...their interesting abilities to interact and the amazing aerial acrobatics they exhibit.

Here is where my heart beats, my breath slows, and I am drawn to the small wonders that surround myself. I am lost in another world, untouched by the dark side of human nature. I capture what I find beautiful, curious, or intriguing. Nature paints an everchanging canvas...her palatte never dries.
